Definitely the trip of a lifetime!!

We began our journey at Maasailand, where I was immediately immersed in the Maasai culture. From the authentic, but modernized huts, to the delicious Maasai cuisine, mixed with a bit of familiar western cuisine. We spent our days discussing the culture as well as the deeper meaning of life.  We visited a Maasai family. The landscape, expansive and beautiful, was the backdrop for our daily meditation.

Next stop, the Serengeti. Awakening to the sounds of the wildlife all around us. Giraffe, lions and impalas were visible from our beautifully appointed tents. The food at Chaka camp was simply delicious. We spent the days exploring all the Serengeti has to offer.

The last few days were spent at The Retreat at Ngorongoro….a breathtakingly beautiful retreat, where fruit trees, herbs and spices were grown and served with our meals. Beautiful cottages, winding pathways, all with visual reminders of beautiful expressions that reflected the space we inhabited.

The Healing Safari is definitely a unique experience that I would recommend to everyone. The traditional Maasai ceremony at the end of the trip, was personal and powerful.  I continue to reflect on it as I’ve returned to my daily routine.

I most appreciated the progression of experiences. From authentic, to rustic, to luxurious. All thoughtfully put together to maximize the experience. Thank you Tanya and Sululu for an amazing, life altering experience!

Physically I was so well taken care of with wonderful organic food with consideration of my diet restrictions. Mentally excellent course giving some wisdom to take back with me and spiritually enriching.

Tanya with over the 20 years of her experience spending time in Africa and doing the safaris is a master of making sure all your needs are taken care of and guiding you through such a beautiful gift of meditation and yoga on the Serengeti. Such an appreciation of the land the wonderment of the animals and the kindness of the people.

Sululu lives the wisdom of the land and shows his leadership yet humility and compassion. I felt like I made a new friend.

The migration was spectacular and doing yoga on the Serengeti and meditating in this wonderful land was a trip of a lifetime. I have so much appreciation for all the gifts that we have in our country and the wisdom found in nature.

Thank you Tanya, thank you Sululu, thank you Africa, thank you for this incredible journey. I thought it was perfect and I want to share with my friends.
